Occupational and educational structures of the labour force and levels of economic development: some international evidence
Abstract
This article presents certain results of a large scale study undertaken by the author, in collaboration with J. P. Jallade and C. Croner, at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The full Report is available in mimeographed form under the title: “Occupational and Educational Structures of the Labour Force and Levels of Economic Development - Possibilities and Limitations of an International Comparison Approach” (OECD, 1969, ref. no. DAS/EID/69.16). The final version will be published by the OECD in 1970.
