Abstract

Formal communication in industry - In this article the author analyses the characteristics of formal communication in industry. In an introduction he stresses the fact that until now, no unanimity has been reached concerning the conception and limitation of “communication research”. This is mainly due to the interdisciplinary character of it. The communication processes in industry are classified, the pros and the cons of these different processes, several aid techniques as well as conditions for good communication are discussed. Finally the connection between organic structure and formal communication is argued and faults as well as jamming of the communication processes are examined.
