De segregatie van de artistieke wereld in pers, radio en televisie

Author

Abstract

The segregation of the arts in radio and television news - It is a well known fact, that the important radio- and tv-news bulletins have a large public and a very large political and human influence. Most opinion surveys however show definitely, that after five minutes, the attention tends to weaken conspiciously and at the beginning of the news, artistic items are very seldom heard; most institutes even eliminate all artistic news from their main journals. In my study of international news content, I try to prove, that a short report of important opera-, film-, theatre- and concert premieres should be included in the main bulletins, which are supposed to be the mirror of the world around us, and not only of the political part of it.
