Abstract
King Albert II’s speech from the throne. A quotation from the work of Alexis de Tocqueville - In the short speech made on the occasion of his taking the oath King Albert II quoted from the writings of Alexis de Tocqueville. Where can this quotation be found ? Who was Alexis de Tocqueville ? Some brief comments have been added to the answers and three examples are mentioned of the intuitions on which the fame of Tocqueville is largely based.
