Abstract
Socialization, social control and sociological explanations of human actions - In this article, the structure of sociological explanations of human actions is analysed. A model for these explanations is presented in which philosophical elements (general studies of explanations and decision theory) are combined with sociological elements (the functioning of two social mechanisms, viz. socialization and social control).
