Werkloosheid en de verwachte en gewenste herintreding in het arbeidsproces
Abstract
Unemployment selected for this and study the expected consists and of desired re-entrance into the labour market — 298 respondents. All were married, under 3$ years old and at least four months unemployed. 86% of them were women, living in a mainly urban area. The majority of the respondents has no idea about the duration of unemployment. In general the desired moment of re-entrance into the labour market is situated in a nearer future than the expected one. Especially woman and respondents over 25 years old expect to be without a job for a long time. But women also desire a longer period of unemployment as well as younger people. Negative self-esteem of the unemployed is correlated with a longer duration of unemployment. Respondents evaluating the advantages of unemployment as being more important than the disadvantages wish and expect to be without a job for a longer time.
