De ontwikkeling van het economisch zelfbestuur in Joegoslavië: historische schets en huidige organisatieprincipes binnen het bedrijf
Abstract
The development of economic selfmanagement in Yugoslavia: historical sketch and recent evolution — The article first describes the subsequent phases of the position of the firm and self-management therein, along with the general socio-economic and political evolution. So the last phase is seen as an ultimate reaction to push further in practice the idea of selfmanagement in the working collectives. As a crucial test for autonomy, the decision making on income distribution is described generally and illustrated by a report of a concrete experience on personal income distribution in a Serbian firm of the processing industry. Some remarks on the changes in the role of the bank system as a decision maker on enlarged reproduction follows, as well as a note on the role and status of the foreign firm in the yugoslav context. The article finishes by posing some questions on the relevance of the yugoslav model.
