De sociologie van het absurde: een late voorstelling
Abstract
The sociology of the absurd, a late presentation — In this short contribution we will define what the sociology of the absurd implies: a vision of the world, connected with the feelings of men who find it difficult to live in a society which grows more and more abstract. This sociological view was introduced by LYMAN and SCOTT in The sociology of the absurd (1970). We have placed this sociological perspective in the frame of reference of ZlJDERVELD’s cultural sociology and cultural analysis, concluding that the sociology of the absurd is a one-dimensional form of cultural analysis involving an over-estimation of the homo internus.
