Abstract

This article focuses on the numbers and characteristics of the print media for ethnic minorities in the Netherlands. A study on the visions and aspirations of the editors and readers of two important weeklies on the Dutch multicultural society, the ‘Weekkrant Suriname’ and the ‘Landelijke Allochtonenkrant’, is described.
