Merklogoherinnering bij vijf- tot negenjarigen

Abstract

This study investigated the brand recall of children between 5 to 9 years of age. Sixty children were individually presented with ten brand logos. They were first asked whether they could recall the correct product name and then whether they could recall the correct brand name. Brand logo recall increased significantly by age. Five-year-olds were able to recall five out of ten product names and one out of ten brand names. Nine-year-olds were able to recall nine out of ten product names and six out of ten brand names.
