Toegepast communicatieonderzoek: de ontwikkeling en validering van onderzoeksmethoden voor de communicatiepraktijk
Abstract
The methodology of applied communication research is an important new research topic in communication science, deserving cross-discipline research attention. This type of research aims at inventorying, developing, and evaluating a methodological ‘toolkit’ for communication practitioners. This article provides an outline of this new research area, addressing some of the main types of applied communication research, the kinds of research questions that must be addressed, and the relationship between applied and academic research.
