Het cultuurbegrip in de communicatiewetenschap

Abstract

‘Culture’ is a core concept in cultural indicators and cultural studies theory. In this article the use and meaning of the concept of ‘culture’ in both communication theories is examined. The main issue addressed in this article is the question if these conceptions are still valid in postmodern age.
