Wetenschap op televisie: een vergelijking tussen vier Europese landen
Abstract
The larger public is not familiar with science and technology; they are hard to understand. But science and technology do have a great impact on every day life, and a lack of knowledge about these activities can lead to a negative attitude towards technological innovations. Television can be used for bringing science and technology to the attention of the larger public. This study deals with a comparison of the amount of attention science and technological issues get on television in Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
