Wetenschap op de Nederlandse TV
- Jaap Willems
Abstract
In the Netherlands science and television are on bad terms with each other. Normally scientists don’t like to appear on television and television operators hold the view that science is not suitable for broadcasting. This leads to the conclusion that the amount of information about science on Dutch tele vision is very modest. This was a presupposition. A recent quantitative study confirms this. Indeed, the amount of information about science on Dutch television proves to be low.
