Voorlichtingskunde: diaspora of driestromenland

Abstract

External and internal influences have forced sciences to program their activities, and this is also the case in the science called ’Voorlichtingskunde’. (Voorlichtingskunde is not translated, because of the fact that this is impossible without putting an accent on one of the three streams or programs). Several programs in the past have served as a guide for research and teaching. Looking at a list of criteria, a proposal is formulated for a new program, based upon the difference between the educational, the informational and the persuasive type of ’voorlichting’. Particularly the last type deserves more attention.
