Metafoor en maatschappij

Abstract
In spite of the fact that there are many sign systems, natural language remains the most important mode of communication. Language is not neutral or innocent; the user creates his own world with it. We are often not aware of the fact that we use language in an ideological way. The metaphor is an important instrument, which is used in this way. In this article I consider metaphor as starting point for research. Metaphor can be used for analysis of that division of texts which is not explicit.
