Analyse van voorlichtingsveronderstellingen: methodische aspecten en resultaten uit een gevalsstudie
Abstract
Appropriate and effective public information-campaigns are strived after in different ways. One of the paths to pursue this goal consists of a reconstruction and evaluation of social and behavioral assumptions underlying choices and decisions concerning campaign development and implementation. These reconstructed assumptions together are defined as the ’campaigntheory’. The more intense these campaign-theories are evaluated, the more probable the effectivity of the campaigns is. In this article some rules-of-thumb are presented to detect and reconstruct these ’theories’. Also, results are presented from an attempt to evaluate one particular campaign-theory. The authors point to advantages of their approach to social research in general as well as to the modelling and implementation of governmental information policy.
