Abstract

This article is a first orientation on the functions and inportance of grafical design for printed media. Design can contribute to the attractiveness, comprehensibility, and acceptance of the message. However, a good grafical design is no guarantee for a positive response from readers. Other circumstances, such as interest in the subject, play a part.
