Studies on National Movements

Abstract

The Encyclopedia of Romantic Nationalism in Europe is a multimedia and transnational research tool. Besides its availability in book form, it is online at https://e-rn.ie and https://ernie.nise.eu and can be consulted free of charge; ERNiE does not use privacy-compromising cookies and makes its contents available to the academic community under Creative Commons Licence CC-BY-NC-ND. The online version contains, not only the 2000 articles in the Encyclopedia, but also an extensive corpus of primary sources and documentation as well as a visuzalization tool for network patterns and chronologies. Further material will continue to be added to ERNiE: new articles and a series of Sightlines. Sightlines will present brief occasional papers, notes and queries probing transnational and interdisciplinary themes and crosscurrents in the history of cultural nationalism.
