TY - JOUR AB - <p>Seventeenth century Dutch theatre often touched upon the subject of fashion. More than<br>other literary genres, such as moralizing texts, satirical poems, etc., theatre offered the<br>opportunity to express different views. The present article focuses on Seventeenth-century<br>comic theatre and assesses the various strategies playwrights used to express criticism<br>on fashion.
