Evidence-based praktijken en implementatiewetenschappen
Samenvatting
This article aims to demonstrate two main objectives. Firstly, it argues that the scientific literature on evidence-based decisions pays insufficient attention to the implementation component of research in translating evidence to practice. This gap can be identified through two articles from Exceptional Children about evidence-based practices in special education. Secondly, it highlights the lack of distinction between efficacy, effectiveness, and implementation in the two articles examined. Through a hypothetical example and a concrete case, the article clarifies the distinction between these three elements of an intervention.
